It will fit only if you intend to burn holes in the pistons! A naturally aspirated cobalt has way too much compression for forced induction.
you basically have to swap out all the turbo parts for it or have it custom done. as for the turbo itself it can with the right mounting on a turbo exhaust header. You can't put up to much boost with the stock motor but that small turbo will be able to get you a little more getup.
I looked at both and the heads and blocks look the same. It probably isn't different but compare intake gaskets at O'Reillys or an auto parts store to see if they are similar. Should fit with little work.
No it wont, the intake manifolds are different.
You still drive a Cobalt?
The boosted motors had different internals. Good way to blow up your motor.... if you can rig it up.
I was wanting to know if the super charger off of the 2.0 in the cobalt ss would fit on the 2.2 in a regular colbalt?
