Will disconnecting my car battery at night prevent it from being dead the next morning?

ly if the discharge is caused by excessive battery drain. Normal current draw should be less than 0.50 milliamps. At that rate a battery can stay charged for 30-45 days. If you think something is drawing too much power, read this post on how to troubleshoot it

Not unless you connect it to a charger at night as there is obviously something wrong and it is not holding a charge, probably need a new battery, Good Luck

if the battery is good and is not starting the next day because of a parasitic draw , yes

no - if it is repeatedly needing jump start, then your alternator is probably bad and needs replacing

NO....................old batteries get so they can't hold a charge..............get a new one
