TL;DR The car will accelerate faster, but its maximum speed and its speed in each gear will still be the same.
If that is where the rev limiter kicks in then boost will not change your top speed in that gear. That takes a change in the rev limiter (not wise) or your gear ratio. One way to change gear ratio is to use a larger diameter tire on the driven axle. But unless you change the speedometer calibration to match it will not change the top speed registered on the speedometer.
It only changes how quickly you get to 102kph in second gear. The turbo gives your engine more power but at your red line the motor is doing the same revolutions with or without a turbo, hence the crank is spinning at the same speed hence the gear box hence the diff hence the wheels.
You will either get their faster or not at all as the extra power destroys the transmission.
yeah
Both actually... Turbo adds acceleration and top speed.
So ur rpms are more effective and last a bit longer.
quicker...... and more speed...... just make sure you have enough boost to actually make a difference...
Say for example I get to 102km/h in second gear, if I stick a supercharger or turbo onto my car does it change the speed, i.e. will I get to 130km/h in second gear, or does it change how quickly I get to 102km/h in second gear?
