The other V6's were designed for the transverse FWD cars so they used the smaller mount. In some cases these engines were used for RWD applications so there was a version of the 700r4/4L60 made for them. Originally they were found in the S-10's but later were used in cars like the F body (Camaro / Firebird).
Yep, sure will. A small block chevy is the same bolt pattern for bellhousing no matter what until 02 I think. May be wrong on that, I don't know about them changing the block, but I know they changed the frames in 02 along with some other things like motor mounts, ect. But anyways, your good to go bud!
A 4.3 V-6 is nothing more than a 350 minus two cylinders. Yes a Turbo Hydro 350 transmission will bolt to the 4.3 block.
