Why won't my truck start?

Remove the air intake hose from the throttle body, spray starting fluid or carb cleaner into tb opening, reattach hose, try to start truck. If it starts runs for a few seconds then dies, you have a No Fuel problem. If it doesn't start at all,you have a No Spark problem. As far as a timing check goes, you can remove the number 1 spark plug, put your finger over the hole, get a friend to bump the starter over until you hear air(compression)coming out of the hole, then turn the engine by hand using a breaker bar or torque wrench and socket on the crankshaft bolt.Make sure you're on the compression stroke and not the exhaust stroke.Turn the engine until you get the timing pointer and tdc mark on the harmonic balancer aligned properly. Now remove the distributer cap and make sure the rotor button is pointed directly at the number 1 cylinder post on the distributer cap.If its not aligned properly, the vehicle may have jumped timing(rare but it does happen)That's the only timing check you can do right now

Rotate engine so timing mark is at top dead center. Now remove distributor and see if rotor is at #1 or 180 deg. Either one will confirm if timing has changed.

Oh, the fuel pump is less than 6 months old as well as the ignition coil, plugs, wires, and distributor cap...

Bad Crank sensor, maybe.

spray gas into the intake while someone cranks it. im thinking your injectors arent injecting lol.

1996 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD 5.9L Magnum with 155,000 miles.

I checked the fuel pressure and it's 48lbs...

I checked compression and it's at 160.

I checked spark on all cylinders and all seem to firing normally...I'm not a 'newbie' at this kind of thing but this one has me perplexed and I'm NOT trying to change parts until the issue is resolved....Are there any other parts I need to test? Is there a way to check timing withOUT the engine running? Any/all information will be appreciated. Also, I'd like to say "Thanks!" in advance. :)
