Why is my car leaking a pink, oily fluid?

hat's coolant. You need to have your car serviced by a mechanic. Don't drive it until it can be fixed. you can drive it to the garage if it is very close. If the needle gets close to H, stop the engine and let it cool. Turn on the heat while you're driving to help keep the engine cool. Open the windows so that you don't overheat.

Have you ever opened the hood on your car? You might have broken a radiator hose, and possibly the serpentine belt. Driving a car when it overheats can lead to worse damage.

A cooling system leak that sounds major. Do not drive it. Off to the garage for you!

pink fluid is either atf, for the trans or coolant in a 96 or later gm, or special coolant in a dodge. you did not state the vehicle info so ill stop there.

That is probably coolant for your air conditioning system.

I was driving home and I smelled burning rubber and then I heard a pop and then some grinding noises. Once I parked I noticed some fluid leaking under the front bumper. When I tried to drive my car home, it ran hot. The lever went to H immediately.
