Why is my car jingling / rattling?

Impossible to diagnose noises over the internet but I'd be suspecting the exhaust for that kind of noise. Either a hanger is loose or broken or the internal baffles in the silencer are starting to fall apart.

If nothing under the car is loose, be sure to check that your lug nuts are tight, and if you have hub caps.....pop them off to see if you have a rock caught in there bouncing around. OR, this is highly unlikely, but something such as a rock, or lead weight on the inside of your tire. It has happened before. If you are comfortable removing the wheel from the vehicle, do so and roll it around and bounce it a bit to see if the sound is your tire/wheel. If not then it must be something loose on the car.

Hi it could be absolutely anything. so when you say you drive slowly i hope that does not mean always driving in a high gear at low speed at low engine revolutions as this will certain be the cause of excessive engine wear and make the engine sound like a tin can full of nails being shaken. more damage is done to engines by driving in at low engine revolution and in too high a gear. it does less harm to drive it at high engine revolutions in a lower gear. as less wear in the engine is the result. Ford cars especially need to be driven hard otherwise there life is reduced dramatically.

maybe it,s a muffler clamp loose or something hanging and hitting on the exhaust pipe ! did you check the heat shield around the cat converter ? it might be coming loose !

When I drive at low speeds there is a jingley/rattle noise, well it sounds like a cow bell coming from my passenger rear tyre area. At first I thought it was the heat shield but I had that fixed. Anybody know what it could be? There is noting loose underneath the car.

Thank you for any help given

Oh I have a 52 plate ford fiesta zetec :)
