Kenny you are correct, the master cylinder seals are suspect therefore the fluid gets drawn in to the booster by vacuum and ultimately into the engine to be burnt with the petrol/air mix. Definitely a better answer than you Angie who basically knows diddly squat!!!!
Depends on the car and as my crystal ball is in for cleaning and you have not said it could be anything. Most modern cars use the same fluid for brakes and clutch so it could be a clutch slave cylinder problem.
Could be leaking into the brake booster.
Last month I had to have the brake line replaced. This month car keeps going to a lot of brake fluid. A friend of mine can not find any leaks; there no wet spots or anything on the ground under the car. But yet I have to keep putting in fluid.
