Why is my air conditioner (a window unit) leaking water inside my room?

It recently started dripping water to the inside, not outside. Figured id see if there was any way to fix it without buying a new one.

Make sure your unit is tilted about a 1/4 inch outside. That allows the water to drain outside.

There's a drain hole or hose in the casing on the outside of the window and it's clogged.

Do you not know that the moisture in the air is removed as water to cool the temperature? The hose has fallen off or clogged or the drain hole has clogged. Do you have the instructions? There is nothing wrong with the unit itself.

HI, make sure the unit is level or slightly tilted up in the front so the condensation runs out the back .. go out side and make sure that there is a clear way for the water to get out... look for a hole in the bottom that maybe plugged or a grove in the corner somewhere..

good luck

tilt it slightly so it runs downhill out the window instead of in the room.
