Why does my vehicle overheat?

I go with all the flush sayers plus my story was cottonwood seed coating my radiator behind the a/c where I couldn't see it, never figured out how so much got on there without the a/c, as that was in front - wtf?

Check the water supply in the radiator. If you have water then take it to a shop.

I flushed the cooling system and it still overheats intermittently when I come to a stop light. My fans are running the whole time. Any other suggestions?

With the age of the car, I suspect blockage inside the radiator core. This happens most often when the cooling system is allowed to rust, or if the coolant hasn't been changed in many years.

#1. Have an inexpensive *cooling system pressure test done at the dealer of your car. It will find any external or internal cooling system leaks.

#2. When was the last time your cooling system was drained, flushed and CLEANED with one part powered acid cooling system cleaner to get the corrosion, rust and slime out?

I have a 1997 Acura Integra that overheats when I come to a stop light. The fans are running the whole time but as soon as I get my vehicle moving again the temp goes back to normal. This happens intermittently. I just replaced the fan switch and my relays are good.
