Alignment is nothing more than how the front wheels point...Nothing to do with tire balance.
Get the tires balanced first. For all we know...Lug nuts might not be properly torqued.
Discount Tire or NTB. That should get you sorted out with tire issues.
a tire could be out of balance. if the steering wheel shakes then it is one of the front wheels if the back end feels like it is sliding then it is the back. or all four tires could be out of whack and it feels like it is riding on bricks. if a mechanic shop quoted 600 you may have tie rod issues. then again what did the shop say was wrong?
Do not ever buy used tires for daily use. There are no regulations concerning used tires. Bit the bullet and buy new.
A few weeks ago my husband changed our truck tires at one of those $20 tire places (complete mistake) .. every sense then when driving above 70mph the truck has a shake..my husband knows little to nothing about mechanics he took the truck to a shop they want $600 to fix it. But IT think its something more simpler like balance or alignment or bad tire what's your thought ?????
