You need to go to a good diagnostic mechanic. Anything else is just guess work. They will hook up a computer to it, and it will tell the mechanic what is failing. That's what you have to do.
Could be some slack on the throttle cable, maybe try cleaning throttle and tightening it(they need that after a while).

Okay so I had gotten my first car on the 12th of June, its a Black 93 Camry and drives great! However, recently it has started to jerk when I press the gas. It has never done that before. Every time I am at a red light and it turns green after a certain amount of time it jerks and today it did a jerk to the point as if it was about to shut down on me so I am now paranoid. I do not know much about cars and I have Googled this question and people do not give proper info for their question so I just decided to express my issues to those who may be able to help.
