Why didn't the Oil Lube shop fix my vehicle?

At this point i would only be worrying about your radiator fan, or your gonna blow a head gasket or crack your block <----blow your engine. Then worry about your AC.....which is probably the clutch on the compressor. Good luck and hope you get that radiator fan fixed sooooooon

A proper shop would have added dye to the system and checked the entire system for leaks.

To be fair to this shop, the evaporator is not an easy item to check on most vehicles as it is located inside the cabin, behind the dash. A proper diagnosis would have been to check the evaporator as well before quoting the job. The problem now for you is that the job is partially done but the most expensive part still needs to be done to have a functional a/c system.

bc they,r incompetent & dishonest as 99% of those n00bL00b joints are: Pep Kiddies, Auto Zoo, Jip-You-L00b, etc etc.

document everything: names, job titles, dates, who said what to whom, etc.

Then demand to speak to the manager & demand refund.

He balks, prepare small claims suit: write the manager a letter recapping your convo, include photocopies of invoices, etc. say this is a simple matter and should not be forced into court. Restate your demand.

Mail it certified, return receipt requested.

start researching small claims procedure in your state; much is online. contact consumer protection depts, state & county.

when you,r informed, call many lawyers who practice consumer law. They will like that you,v done your research and be more inclined to help you. have all documentation handy. the calls are most always free.

if the manager is still unreasonable, file the suit, prob online, maybe $40, and have some fun and make some $.

guy ripped me off for $45 & I sued him for abt $1400; he dint show in court , I won the judgment by default & collected.

PS: never use these n00bL00b joints. always the name brand dealer; oil change/filter included.

Your first mistake was taking the car to a lube and tune place to get the A/C fixed.

That's like going to a shoe repair shop for a toothache.

They were trying to make enough money to cover their next boat payment.

Take the car to a radiator/AC shop for proper repairs.

The dealer of the car is the best, honest resource when it comes to air conditioning system repair.

They didn't fix it because you said "no way".

I took my van to Auto Tune Precision Care Oil and Lube shop. The air conditioner doesn't work because the A/C compressor doesn't engage at all. I had it recharged with refrigerant and still won't engage at all. Anyway, I took it there, they check it out and then told me that the evaporator line leaked and needed to be replaced. They replaced the evaporator line. Then they came back and told me that it leaked somewhere else after they replaced it and they fixed that too. Then they told me that it leaked from the evaporator and needed to remove all the wiring to replace the evaporator coil. It cost $900.00 to replace it and I said no way.

They didn't fix it. I had to pay for the replacement of the evaporator line that connect to the refrigerant for $263.00!

Why didn't they fix it? Were they right about the evaporator? I thought it's the A/C clutch switch. The radiator fan also didn't run too.

The Oil Lube Tube supposed to be real mechanic shop.
