You do know there is an adjustment on your car to dim and brighten the lights behind your gauges, right? Check around and see if you can find an adjustment for the instrument panel (dashboard) brightness. This may also be a fused circuit, so check all your fuses and make sure they are good. Your owner's manual will have a chart / diagram and can tell you which fuses to check. If you continue to have problems, please consider not driving. At all.
