You bought the vehicle "as is". that generally means that there are lots of things wrong with it and that it may not even be roadworthy. You are responsible for all costs needed to bring it up to safety code. If you have it in writing from the dealer that it would pass the safety, then you may be able to make him pay for the repairs. Don't hold your breath.
No. As you stated you purchased the vehicle "as is". With that, any and all needed repairs which are needed are totally on you the minute you take possession.

My husband and I jut got a 2006 Sierra GMC 1500 from a dealership in Ohio. We have only had the truck since 10/27/2014, and the leaf spring are broke. It was bought as an as is vehicle but was told it would pass PA inspection, we haven't even got the paperwork in the mail yet to get it registration in PA. Should the dealership be responsible for all cost to get it fixed?
