White smoke from under hood and sweet smell?

With no make / model / year info, I would look at the cooling system hose clamps on any coolant hoses that had to be pulled off to replace the A/C compressor and take it back to have them tighten the leaking hose clamp.

What kind of car is it?

If your power is down, I would say blown head gasket. Coolant smells sweet when it boils off.

You have a bad cooling system leak.

Well its a leak of radiator fluid. You need to get it checked out might be a hose leak

Probably a leak in a radiator hose. Open the hood while it is running and you will probably see the leak. Don't take the radiator cap off while hot.

check your engine oil and see if you need to change it

hahahaha

Just noticed today that small amounts of white smoke are coming out from under my hood on the driver side of the vehicle. It has a sweet smell like radiator fluid. The engine is running at normal temp, the fluid is above the "minimum" fluid mark. There is no noticeable spot where it can be leaking from that I can find. I have noticed no puddles under the vehicle. We had the A/C unit replaced a few days ago, and both the A/C and heat work just fine. There is no smell noticeable while driving, but only at rest or idling. It seems to happen when the vehicle has been running for awhile, and I do not notice the smell or white smoke coming from the exhaust at any time. What should I doooooooo?
