White Smoke coming from car?

White smoke from the exhaust is a symptom of a blown head gasket. If the engine overheated then that is what has caused it to blow a head gasket. If there is a trusted mechanic within 5 miles of you drive it there and see exactly what is wrong. If the shop is farther away have it towed. Other symptoms of blown head gasket are loss of coolant with no apparent leak, oil level overfull, or a milky white or gray substance on the underside of the oil fill cap.

These have been recalled for a power steering hose that runs in the back there on the v/6s. It leaks onto the exhaust and smokes. Get a flashlight and look while it is running.

Water may be leaking out somewhere (from a hose). Or you drove true snow or water somewhere and it just evaporates from the hot parts of your engine. If it does not smoke permanently and you are not missing fluids, then maybe you have no problem at all. You can always get it checked out in a shop.

was there any kind of smell as well? could be a coolant leak

I drive a 2004 Honda Accord EX V6, the other day i was driving home and once i pulled into the driveway and parked i noticed a bit of smoke coming from the hood. So i decided to wait till daytime to start the car up and take a look. once i started the car i saw smoke coming from the back of the engine, it wasn't a thick smoke it was more of a light steam if you will, but i barely had my car on for 2-3 minutes once it started. can anyone give me some insightful advice/opinion on what you think it might be

i also just had my car shipped here the other day from germany and it took it like 3 months to finally get it so it has been sitting for a while.
