I guess you answered your own question: No rebuild kits available. Huge difference in price on rebuilt Alts. Its all about quality / warranty. Shop around, should be a reasonable price unit out there. Try NAPA web site.

My alternator is on its way out. Not in the mood for dropping 200 on a new/refurb.

Found instructions online to rebuild myself. Seems easy enough. Question is, where do they sell the parts? I need a bearing, brushes, and voltage regulator.

I need this stuff asap.
