Where do I put the oil at?

The manual in your glove compartment will show where the oil is put in. There should be a large black knob with a yellow picture of oil dripping on the top of the valve cover.

If you had listed the year, make and model of your car we could gave shown a picture where the oil goes in.

There is a cap on the valve cover that says oil. it has a picture of an oil can. If you are unsure have someone show you. After you check the dipstick, if it is at the add level, you put in 1 quart, it is is below that, do not add more until after you have run the engine, then check the stick again, if it is between add and full, leave it alone.

You don't! if a person has no clue where to put oil they probably have no clue how to check the dipstick to see how much oil needs to be added. Stay out from under the hood!

If you are just learning to take care of your engine, Its best to have someone SHOW you. You dont want to put it in the wrong place, and you dont want to put too much in or the wrong kind. There will be a cap on the valve cover that will usually have an outline of an oil can.

Which oil?

Transmission? Engine?

If it is motor oil you are asking about there should be a screw cap under the hood that says "OIL" or if you are a blonde "710"

THE PEOPLE IN CUBA HAVE BEEN KEEPING THEIR CARS DRIVING SINCE THE REVOLUTION ALMOST 60 YEARS AGO = BUT YOU CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO PUT OIL IN YOUR ENGINE. PATHETIC.
