If you live in a state that REQUIRES emissions testing, then chances are that you will have to continue testing every year or two for as long as you own the car.
In my State Washington you need to test 25 yrs from its model year So you won't have to emissions after 2029 But thats Washington for you
It depends entirely on where you live. In the US, it depends on the state. California, for example, exempts vehicles six years old or less and vehicles 1975 or older, so a car never stops being tested as long as it is being registered. Here in Arizona, in the two counties that mandate testing, cars model year 2010 and newer and vehicles 1966 and older are exempt.
...what kind of stupid question is this? What do you mean when do you stop doing car emissions? Never. It is required under LAW in every state to have car emissions done...whether it's yearly or every two years...IT DOESN'T MATTER
Deal with it. I had to deal with it, and others too
I have a 2004 civic and I was wondering when do I have to keep doing them until.
