Wheel studs smaller than the holes in my rims?wheels?

i bought new wheels/rims and it looks like the studs on my car are thinner than the holes in the rim/wheel, wheels are Rota Slipstream,

The studs have to be smaller to go through the holes, the tapered shoulder on your lug nuts should center the wheel on the tapered counter sunk holes in the rim.

You need lug nuts that match the holes in the rims, most have a taper, some have a shoulder.

the rims may require different lug nuts. it is that simple.

You need matching lug nuts.

Some lug nuts go thru the wheel & almost touch the axle flange.
