It is a wheel bearing. Have them all checked.
why did you spray the wheel? or did you spray the rotor? If you sprayed the rotor why? you never put lubricant or grease on the rotor.
The Wheel bearing is trashed and your wheel is about to break off your car and you will lose control and crash :)
edit , Or it might be brake related , But sounds like wheel bearing.
Yeah , jack up that wheel and spin it and shake it. You should easily tell if it is the bearing. I bet your girl friend that it is.
And it can seize and twist of the spindle and the wheel just come off the car.
Problem all started when I noticed a squeeking sound coming from the drivers side wheel, used copper lubricant spray to hopefully solve the issue, now the sounds turned to a knocking sound with every rotation of the wheel, the sound stops when I'm braking also the wheel gets hotter than the rest. The brakes arent too old and looked OK when last checked
Any advice is much appreciated
