What would be the chances of getting caught?

Pretty much none as long as you leave no other evidence and dispose of the clothing you wore. But you would certainly be suspect numero uno if you're a known enemy of the person whose tires you're slashing. And if you're already a suspect from the moment you commit the crime, chances are pretty damn high you'll get caught. Tires are expensive, that type of vandalism causes a lot of money in damage. Police don't take kindly to that.

Dunno about the parking lot you are thinking of, but the company I work for has all dual visible/IR cameras that would make you completely visible. They are getting cheaper and more common all the time.

It may be a moot point. If the police see somebody in all black skulking around a parking lot they will be asking you a lot of questions.

Don't do things you are ashamed of and life will be much better.

seeing as you posted this and your cpu has an IP address and someone might have read this and they tell the police this and the police can find this info out and find you I would say not to do it now because you might be blamed for it now even if you don't do it, but if you would have done it before it before you posted the chances of getting away with it were 50/50 due to the fact of night vision cameras

the car didnt do anything to you, what are you, 13? anybody who sees you will hold you for the police or worse, a very pissed off owner

Nil.

Hypotically speaking, lets you slash someone tires in the middle of the night but the parking lot has cameras.

However, you disguise yourself by painting your face black, covering your face with a black cloth, wearing all black with a big black hat. What would be the chances of getting caught if the camera records you in action?
