Most chain-saws now call for a higher octane fuel, such as 89 or 93. The higher the octane the cooler the burning of the mixture of 2 cycle oil and fuel.
93 octane with 2 stroke oil mixed in(if its 2 stroke). I am not sure what the ratio of oil to gas, but you sould look that up.
91 octane is good also, 89 is okay for a short time, but dont do it too often. Stay away from 87.
Most likely it is 50-1... go buy the pre mix. It will cost more but will be the best in the long run. Not only will it run better, but will start easier.
I use 91 oct
i have a ryobi 16 inch chain saw, what fuel should i use?
