What to do with 85 Pontiac Fiero.?

Don't waste your time tying to make that car become a performer - it's not going to happen. The old Pontiac Iron Duke was a very durable long life engine - 45K is absolutely nothing. However that was a high torque, lower revving 4 cylinder that was just fine for the Citation and Celebrity along with their corporate twins as a decent basic economy engine. It was even used in the boxy body S-10 and didn't run bad. It was a good match to the Citation front end that was used for the rear end of the Fiero.

Best thing is to keep it maintained, run it without beating it to death, and plan in selling it to a collector who would be thrilled to get a low mileage Fiero that isn't beat. Believe me, when that car came out - people really liked them. They accepted the low power in exchange for something that wasn't a brick rolling down the road,

Lots of great choices of things to do with it. A turbo Iron Duke might be a lot of fun. An LS1 would be a riot.

You've heard wrong. Sell it, and good luck finding a buyer.

I recently occurred a 85, Pontiac Fiero from my grandmother(yes, I know)

I know a sum about cars and engines, but not much,

So id like to make this little, and light, car fast, but not sure which way would be best

Its a I4 "Iron Duke", with 45k miles, so much wear and tear on the little engine.

Ive heard Turbo Charging small engines is something new, and works good. What are some some-what cheap Turbo Chargers that would work good on the i4.

And any advice for what to do with this car,(besides selling haha)
