I only own GM vehicles and I haven't lost a compressor yet, a few O ring leaks and one electric clutch so far out of 12 vehicles.
GM makes the best AC units for cars in the world. Even other car manufacturers uses GM's stuff.
I have owned many GM vehicles and I have never had one go bad nor any other family members as well.
my 1997 chevy pu 230k miles still has original compressor
Is it just me, or do a ton of GM cars lose their AC by time they turn 8 years old?
