it might be a 350 transmission ! you can tell by looking at the pan ! a 350 transmission has 13 bolt holes and the right rear corner of the pan is cut off !

700 r4 the 4l60e was not in trucks yet
460LE maybe. Look for tag or stampings on tranny, only way to know for sure.
You have a 700R-4. The 4L60 was installed in 1990-1992 vehicles , and became the electronically shifted 4L60-E in 1993.
It's your transmission.
I have a 1988 chevy suburban 1500 and it has a 350 engine in it but the tranny needs replaced but I'm not sure what it is. It has I think a 3 speed with a over drive.
