I have had several 302 engines they are good engine.
I used what ever brand was on sale as long as it meets specs.
I ran a 91 Ford Crown 224,000 miles and it did not use any oil.
Sold it and the new owner ran it to 318,000 miles
Use a brand name not a store brand of 10w30.
Synthetic oil in my opinion is overrated.
Doesn't matter what brand is it.
But I'll say go with Pennzoil High Mileage 10w-30.

Go with the Castrol GTX, Pennzoil is horrible.
I have a 1995 F-150.It has about 147000 miles on it so far. It is a V8 302 5.0 L engine in it. I was wondering what kind of oil would work better?Should I use, Pennzoil High Mileage 10w-30 or Castrol GTX High Mileage Part Synthec 10w-30?
