What is the best way to remove cosmetic scratches from a car on a budget?

While I was doing a project on my car I neglected to properly prep and ended up scratching up my car, I tried rubbing them out but it seems they are deeper than I thought.

Did you try using a light grade rubbing compound? Five bucks at any auto parts store. That usually does the trick. If not, they are simply too deep to be removed by hand.

If the scratches are deep, you won't get them out yourself. You can buy some products that will help hide them, but it won't actually remove them.

keep rubbing lol .. .you can get a cheap buffer and pads and pick up the proper grades of compound at an auto paint supply place .. alot of work .. dont buff it to much and remove the clearcoat ..

You don't.
