Have you tried a different M/B shop? They'd be MORE than happy to show up the other shop. New brakes that squeal are due to lazy "technicians"

Just for fun do this. Go test drive a KIA Optima. No really. Your going to be very pleasantly surprised. It may not have the cachet of opulence you desire but go drive one anyway. Go on.
I am in the process of trading my Mercedes c300 for a more reliable luxury car. I have only had the car for 10 months and have experienced squeaky brake issues. I have had my car serviced 4 times within the past 5 months at a Mercedes dealer and every serviceman tells me that the squeaking is normal when braking and taking off. I have had the brakes replaced and still hear the squeaking. I really love Mercedes Benz but the squeaking is really bothering me. I would like to stick with the similar lineup as Mercedes but a more reliable, less maintenance car. Any suggestions based on experience are welcome
