What do I do with a wrecked car?

Fix it, or sell it for parts or sell it to auto salvage yards like Pick The Part. They will tell you how much they will give you for the vehicle(as they factor in the price of steel as that changes daily) So anywhere from $300-400 and it is gone. Do it before the shop charges you storage fees.

The only thing to do is to contact the shop and sell it to them or take it to a salvage yard.

Here in California there is a company called Ecology Wrecking, and they will go to the vehicle, pick it up and pay you a minimum of $300 as long as the title is clear and the vehicle is complete.

First be certain they are not charging you a daily storage fee. If so get it out of there. Take some photos of your vehicle and see if you can sell it on craigslist. Sometimes people who rebuild cars need a parts car.

"One man's trash is another person's treasure"

Scrap it or tow it out into a field for target practice.

Take out the parts that work and sell em. Ask a buddy that knows about cars. U can sell the tires and rims(even just one) u can take the radio. Sell the engine . Sell the transmission. Sell the headlights and backlights if working . Sell the doors. Sell the clutch(if its manual) and thats about it. Now ur guna need a place to store this and a way of transporting it cuz the engine is heavier than it looks.

I crashed my car and it would cost more to fix it than it is worth. Right now it is sitting at the auto shop because I don't know what to do with it. I only have liability insurance on it. What are my options?
