Blown fuse? Bad contacts, broken or earthed wire, blown glow plugs
Glow plugs do have a service life and may need to be replaced from time to time. Have someone check to see if they are getting voltage on initial start-up or check the resistance of the plugs themselves but don't make a guess of it mate.
