What can clean my fuel filter if it's clogged up?

It's for my 2001 VW Cabrio. Automatic.

It is not a serviceable item Replace it.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.pcboostcleaner.com

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

You can't clean a fuel filter. IT's designed to capture and HOLD dirt.It won't let it go

Sugar in your gas tank will clean it right out. Replacing will do nothing.

Why bother. Just replace it. Its a cheap part and it is meant to be replaced, not cleaned. Its like cleaning engine oil filter, don't see ppl doing that...that would be ridiculous.

Anyway, to answer your question, idk.

fuel filters are usually replaced rather than maintained .

saying that it filters from one way so remove filter and flush it out from the other end . everyone else will tell you to replace it probably .
