Does it jerk when your foot ain't on the gas? That points toward an IAC, or a dirty throttle body. Only remove bolts while the engine is cold. There should be a vacuum diagram under the hood, there could be a leak
I had the same issue (it also jumped when i turned and accelerated at the same time) and I was thinking it'd cost me tons of money to fix. I added some transmission fluid and that had been the issue- low trans fluid. Try the little things first!!
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6
Yeah and if your transmission is full then I think you need
too look into getting some Fuel injection cleaner, you may
have to put it in a full tank and run it til near empty, then do it
again with a second full tank, after that you will have trouble
stopping the car"lol", should work better now
Is there any possibility that you could tell us the year, make and model of the car so we would have a chance to study the ignition and fuel sustem?
Is the check engine light on? If so, if you read the codes, it would give you a much better indication than a bunch of yahoos on Y/A.
the problems with your car could be in the fueling part, where maybe there's impurities, (water/damp in bottom of tank) clogged fuel/air filters?
Blocked fuel line, may need to clean filter?
could be an electrical issue
It jerks when driving unless I'm going over 30 MPH. And when idling it vibrates.
