What can I do? Radio comes on by itself later?

Thank you all for your answers. Really nice of you. I have been trying to find the fuse that supports the radio but they are not labeled so obviously. The Audio fuse did nothing when I unplugged it. I was told by a "sound system" business operator that the entire console has to come out and that it would be expensive. I have more time tomorrow Saturday to follow up on all of the suggestions and input. Thank you for all.

Go to eautorepair.net and buy a short subscription. Print out the wiring diagrams to see where the radio is getting power. Then troubleshoot the module or relay that's switching power.

I'm sorry to hear about the situation you're having with your radio. We see you're planning to look into this concern independently, Elizabeth. Please know we are here to assist you if you change your mind. Let us know how everything goes.

I saw this on "The Twilight Zone". Did you run over a kid on a bike, and not tell anyone about it?

Radio off - Lock the door - when I return to the car hours later the radio has come on. I look through the window and see it and hear it on before I unlock the door. My battery has died several time due to this problem

2012 Chevy Sonic with 50,600 miles on it. My warranty for this problem has expired. What can I do to fix it myself without dealer? Fuse perhaps?
