Its a manual '95 BMW. What are those for

The first one is for the roof mounted sidewinder missiles and the 2nd is the ejection seat. Didn't you see any James Bond movies?

How the heck should we know - - - it isn't our car - - - we don't have hands-on access to it.

But if forced to, would guess that someone has added a "cut off" switch to disable the ignition......maybe 2 that have to be set correctly or in sequence as an anti-theft device......does it have an add-on electric fuel pump......does it have add-on fog lights, alarm system, stereo or ???????

Usually they are for add-on equipment such as fog/hood/under skirt (neon) lamps ... But as they have protective cover on, so let's guess they are correlated to performance/safety etc. features..

They look like custom toggle switchs. Idk in to poor to own any BMW auto. But they look like they were installed. They could range from led lights to NOS, or even a self distruct.
