Weekend car needs 4 new tires but no money what should I do?

If you're storing the car for the winter and will not drive it at all, there's no need to put different tires on it until you plan to drive it again. A car can sit indefinitely on old or worn tires. At worst they'll go flat while it's sitting for months. If you're worried about leaving it on flat tires for whatever reason, you can always store it up on jack stands and keep the wheels/tires off the ground entirely.

I wouldn't trust used tires on a car that is driven like you probably drive your supercharged Mustang. Save up your money and get a matching set of 4 new tires for it when you can afford it.

Check the tire shops. sometimes you can find a set of good used tires. Otherwise, save your money til you have enough. Dont drive on bad tires.

Get a credit card from a credit union, when you are ready to feed the beast, get the full set, the right set. Do it once, do it right,

First On Race Day.

Pay the card with your winnings.

Get a car you can afford to maintain

I have a 2003 supercharged mustang and i need 4 new tires but theyre too expensive. Cheapest are 130 each

I am storing the car in for the winter so can I get away with it having 4 bad tires? I dont drive the car a lot because its getting stored

But do you think i should buy 2 used tires for 100 in total or its not worth it and just save up for the 4 new tires??
