It'll start unless it's literally bone dry, but not a good idea to run it without oil that'll just cause you a whole bunch of headache in the future

You can burn up the engine if you run it without oil. Unless you want to fork over thousands for a new engine you would have to get into the habit of checking the oil more frequently.

May start but will burn engine up. Put oil in it.
