Yes there are, but I have never heard anything positive about them. You would be better off sticking that $$$ into a savings account for any possible repairs.

I just purchased a 2005 Nissan Murano with 129,000 miles on it. And yes, they have a CVT transmission on them that I'm really nervous about, especially since its over the 120,000 mile warranty. So, is there any external warranty services I can possibly purchase for a monthly fee that will cover just the main components? Like, engine and transmission? I can probably replace most of the little things myself. I just worry about the crazy high cost items, mainly the CVT.

If so, what are THE BEST and cheapest warranties I can buy?
