If you have money then get a new set of alum heads. If you are on a budget then find some pre-smog pontiac 400 heads to increase the compression ratio. A set of ram air III heads would be ideal and not as costly.

Its easy to do on that engine ignore that other idiot who obviously doesnt know who makes chevy and pontiac. to increase horespower first i would like to know if the engine is stock or have you done anything you could put a bigger carb on it and increase it
