I suspect, with any aged "electrical gremlins", a grounding issue.
Not so much at the battery post / cables, but at one of the ground straps. Bottom of car gets all the salt, road crap, right where the ground cable bolts to the frame. I have had to remove the cable, clean BOTH surfaces and re-install to frame. Just a thought.
The clicking noise is the starter solenoid trying to turn the starter motor but starter motor is not turning on the Flywheel.
Checked fuse?
Sounds like the starter solenoid to me. If the battery and starter motor are good, check the solenoid.
not sure
it is the actuator rod flexing

Turn of the key - The relay clicks and nothing else happens, just makes a buzz if I hold the key in the on position (Pretty sure that's just the relay).
What I've tried - Replaced neutral safety switch (clutch switch), replaced starter relay, replaced battery.
This same thing happened back in December, after I turn the key about 50-200 times it eventually starts. I was going to replace my starter, but one of our friends at VIP tested the starter directly before they were going to replace it for us and they said it's fine; and changing it would probably be a waste of money. So I ignored the problem and just ran with it. The problem stopped and it started clean until Thursday, it started the problem again.
Theories I've gotten- Ignition switch, Starter, and then the others which I've tested.
(I need a home run hitter to fix this problem with me, I've got a slip in my clutch as of last month that just started so that needs replacement in the near future, I've got a tire that's about to fall off, and now a $263.00 speeding ticket. So money is tight, get me the right answer... Please!)
