I agree with above, the hydraulic clutch prolly need work (bleeding or replacment) if it's really bad it needs a throw out bearing or something internally which is not allowing the tranny to stop spinning. But I have a 98' ford ranger (pretty much the same truck) 4 speed +overdrive with 200,000+ miles and no issues...so I bet minor problems
Clutch hydraulics are probably starting to fail - If you can get it into gear with the engine off then it is definitely a hydraulic clutch failure and not a linkage problem.
Dragging clutch will cause this.
Its got fluid. So what would I have to do to fix it?
Hello, I own a 1997 Mazda B2300 standard transmission. When I come to a complete stop in neutral, I cannot put it back into gear for the life of me and its been getting worse. I don't exactly know what to do on this one if anybody can help?
