depending on make and model most cars will have a history code section. meaning they still can be pulled up but need a scanner to do that not a regular code reader like most auto parts stores carry. so keep on driving till the light comes back on or find garage to find the codes
The light doesn't have to be on the replace an 02 sensor or whatever other part is faulty
What did they tell you was wrong ?
the issue is still there. drive for 3 days and see if you can not find a shop to pull the pending codes. dont knock jifffy. i worked there for 17 years and put my way through collage.
Just take their diagnosis and proceed to the pinpoint test for that code and read the directions.
or did you put YOUR way through collage too?
is that like throwing yourself into pottery?
My check engine light came on so I took it to jiffy lube and they turned it off like idiots and told me what's wrong. So now it needs to come on for me to fix the problem. It usually takes a while to turn back on. What should I do???
