Take it to a Auto transmission shop you should have had it checked out as soon as you saw it was leaking. Adding fluid does not correct why it is leaking. Could be several things in the transmission that could cause it.
It sounds like you have a transmission leak. This is one thing that you have to get looked at immediately, not when you get around to it. If you destroy your transmission it can be verrrrrrrrrry expensive to repair.
Crawl your happy little butt under there and have a look.
i think its time to replace it mate.
Hello. My car is a 1995 Oldsmobile and just recently it started leaking transmission fluid very badly. I noticed it was low and added some and it seemed fine. Two days later, I drove to work which is an hour away and when I almost made it back home, it started shifting hard. When I parked the car and looked under it, most of the transmission fluid had leaked out. This happened again a few days later but only seems to be happening when the car is hot. The coolant levels are fine but the engine oil was low which caused the engine to overheat which I didnt notice until after the second issue with the transmission fluid (not sure if that matter or not). Does anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks!
