Transmission Fluid looks like engine oil?

It's no longer ruby red because you have racked up 130k miles on your Chevy. Have the tranny fluid, and filter, replaced, not flushed. Obviously the pan gasket is toast and needs to be replaced as well.

smell it and see if its burnt not like burnt motor oil it has a differnt smell

I think it is motor oil. Could be leaking at rear seal and it will run right down dripping off the bell housing. Any good mechanic can find the leak. Repairing it may be a different story.

ALSO;

If your transmission fluid is brown, have your entire cooling system checked, especially the radiator. Chances are, the transmission fluid has turned dark because it overheated. The transmission has lines going to the radiator in separate chambers.

So ive been noticing fluid on my garage floor. I thought it was oil. So I jacked ny car up and its transmission fluid leaking from the pan. But it looks like engine oil. Nothing is wrong with my transmission. It drives and shifts fine. Why is my trans fluid brown and not red? I have a 2006 chevy cobalt ls 130k miles.
