and the make and model is? it will probably have to be towed no fluid in the t-case will also effect the rear shaft if the hole is big enough it will eventually freeze up. no separate fills not shared with transmission. find local shop at ATRA.COM for more help

If the transfer case shares the same fluid with the transmission, no, you cannot do that.

doesnt sound like you have much of a choice. just talking to my buddy yesterday, he had exploded a tcase on a jeep. the pto side that runs the front drive shaft was completely missing, he drove it for 2 yrs like that

I'm on a long road trip and my transfer case just exploded... Can I disconnect the front drive shaft and continue to a shop in 2wd? Is the t case fluid shared with the transmission?
