The engine requires 3 things, air, gas and spark. Pull a plug wire off and connect to a old plug. Clamp the plug to something metal on the engine and crank it to see if there is spark. To find out if it is a fuel problem, remove air cleaner and shoot starter spray into the tube while cranking. If it fires up, fuel problem.

Spark plug? Starter? Alternator? Check those.

Maybe the timing belt is broken.

If the starter can spin the engine easily, there's no valve action and no compression.

If you turn it over a lot and the battery does not get drained... that's why.

I've put a new fuel pump and filter in, a new alternator a new rotor button O-ring and outer seal in the distributor I've checked plugs leads and I've checked fuses and relays through the hole car pretty much and there all fine as far as I can see! Plz help I'm not sure what else it could be other than ignition coil? It turns over just won't fire sounds like it wants to but wont
