Tire replacement?

Posted at: 2015-01-07
It took Firestone 15 tires to find me 4 of theirs that would balance out on their Hunter tire balance machine. After 3 days of messing around and not finding 4 that would work without shaking at 70 mph I had to come up with $180 more to upgrade to the next price range tire they made. I'm not happy with them either. Firestone sucks! To think people go to them for mechanical work too when a tire company can't even make round tires is pathetic! Buy a different brand tire!

Ah hell. It got typed in wrong. Originals are 225/65/17 not 225/65/15. Sorry about that.

With your correction, yes that should be OK. 225 to 235 is not enough to make any noticeable difference, and the other numbers are the same.

No you would have to switch wheels to run the other tires. Your current rim size is 15 inch and the tires you are considering require 17 inch rims

Sure, you can safely go with the P235/65R17 all terrain Firestones if you wish.

The width is okay but the rim size is different. So, no.

no way

I have a 2014 jeep cherokee latitude 4X4 running 225/65/15 firestone destination LE2 tires. I want to replace them with firestone destination AT. Problem is the closest size they come to mine is 235/65/17. I dont want to replace the wheels and am just wondering if the 235 would fit on the wheels i have for the 225?
