OwlBear and Josh are right - either of those products are safe for humans and kill roaches by wearing holes in their joints, causing them to bleed to death. Copperbrite sells a product called Roach Prufe, which is boric acid, and can be found in larger supermarkets and hardware stores.
Bombing a car is not safe; it impregnates the upholstery with toxic (and smelly) pesticides without having much effect on roaches.
I would contact the person that you bought this car from. Did they advertise it as "clean"? Get some Boric Acid (Borax Laundry Detergent) to kill them. Be aware though that it can be harmful if ingested, so not a good idea for your baby.. The Boric acid will definitely kill them, but wherever you pour it, make sure to vaccuum really good afterwards.
bomb it. itll stink but its safe. if in doubt, read the material safety data sheet. you should be able to find it online by typing product name plus msds
Roach motels and lots of vacuuming .
A few days ago, I purchased a 2002 Ford Escape. I went to get into my car the next day and found little roaches (there are like 2 different kinds in there) around the driver's seat, in the back floorboard, and coming out of the gear shift on the floor. I do not want to bug bomb my vehicle. I don't want to risk my baby getting sick if I were to miss some places after cleaning or if the fumes took too long to go away. PLEASE HELP!
