The cost of inspection?

Mine was inspected about 3 months ago. It cost $27. For some cars, the cost is a little higher. Nothing to worry about.

most state have a price for smog and one for safety you need both so it could be 30-60 bucks. personally I NEVER go to a repair shop for inspections. They are in the business of fixing cars and a car that old will have problems or things that could be fixed or tuned up. Go to a inspection only shop they dont do repairs just safety and emissions..

Why don't you put your mystery location? Better yet, call some shops in your area and ask them. Nobody here can tell you.

Where I live it's anywhere from 20-50 bucks for the annual inspection.

When doing inspections the cost can vary depending on the home. There are several things to take into consideration such as age, units, gas or oil, radon, and termite. Best to speak to several inspectors and see reviews before hiring. Price can be as little as $300 to as high as $1000. Do not let price sway you one way or another because this is one of the most important things in the process.

I would trust the local dealer over Firestone. Myself and others have had a lot of bad experiences with multiple locations.

Any Chevrolet dealer will inspect the car and advise you first if any repairs are needed.

Most places, if no repairs are needed, will charge approximately $75. Don't be surprised if repairs are needed.
